Fact: A fake account pretending to be affiliated with Imran Khan shared an old video out of context to claim that it shows video evidence of women who support PTI facing sexual violence in police custody
On 28 May 2023, Twitter handle @ImranKhan_Force shared a video of a woman arguing with a police officer with the caption, “Evidence of the rape of women in custody is also in this video and Rana’s midnight press conference seems to be exposing more.

Fact or Fiction?
Through reverse image search tools, Soch Fact Check found that this 16-second clip was posted to Facebook as part of a longer video, as early as 13 August 2021. The original post includes nine videos that show the same woman speaking to the police and arguing about the mistreatment she faced.
The post captions claims that SHO Manawan Saleem Shaukat and his brother Salman Shaukat tortured stage actress Dua Chaudhry. Soch Fact Check has not investigated this claim further.
It is interesting to note that the Punjab Police’s official Twitter account responded directly to the tweet posted by the account impersonating Imran Khan, however, the police’s statement was hidden by the original poster. According to the Punjab Police, “یہ 2021 کا واقعہ ہے۔ یہ خاتون صبا عامر ہیں جو کہ بطور آرٹسٹ اسٹیج پر دعا چودھری کے نام سے کام کرتی ہیں ۔ ان کا اپنے شوہر کے ساتھ جھگڑا ہوا تھا ۔ دعا چودھری اس کا مقدمہ درج کروانے آئی تھی جس کی ایف آئی آر نمبر 1506/21 درج کی گئی تھی لیکن اگلے روز ان کی صلح ہو گئی اور انہوں نے اس بابت ویڈیو میسج بھی ریکارڈ کروایا تھا ۔ پولیس اسٹیشن میں درخواست دینے والا عموما یہی کہتے ہیں کہ اس کے ساتھ زیادتی ہوئی ہے لہذا اسے انصاف دیا جائے ۔ اس کا مطلب جنسی زیادتی نہیں ہوتا۔ سوشل میڈیا پر ہونے والے پراپگنڈہ سے بچیں اور پرانے واقعات کو شیئر کر کے خوف و ہراس پھیلانے سے گریز کریں ”
[Translation: This is a 2021 event. This woman is Saba Amir, who works as a stage artist under the name of Dua Chaudhary. She had a quarrel with her husband. Dua Chaudhary had come to register an FIR against him, which was registered under No. 1506/21, but the next day they reconciled, and they had also recorded a video message about it. The applicant in the police station usually says that he has been abused, so justice should be given to him. It does not mean sexual abuse. Avoid propaganda on social media and avoid spreading fear by sharing old stories.]

The tweet published by the fake account received over 875,000 views and received over 15,671 interactions.
Conclusion: A fake Twitter account impersonating Imran Khan shared an old video of a completely unrelated case, falsely claiming it to show evidence of sexual assault against female PTI supporters in police custody.
