Fact: The post doing the rounds on social media is doctored. Geo News never reported or shared any such story.

On 9 April 2023, Twitter user Asad R Chaudhry (@Asadrchaudhry) shared an image that looked like it was posted by Geo News, with a photo of former prime minister Imran Khan and text stating he said that no one knows Gen Munir better than him and the army chief is a good human being.
“جنرل عاصم منیر کو مجھ سے زیادہ کوئی نہیں جانتا، ایک اچھے انسان ہیں، عمران خان [No one knows General Asim Munir better than me, he is a human being, Imran Khan],” the text juxtaposed on the graphic says.
A search with keywords did not yield any results for news reports claiming that Khan said Gen Munir is a good human being. Soch Fact Check could not find any reports by Geo News attributing the viral statement to Khan.
Manzar Elahi, Editor Digital at Geo News Urdu, clarified in a tweet saying that the “image and news is fake” and the media outlet “never reported or shared any such story.”
