Claim: An image featuring a large group of people, law enforcement officers, and multiple barricades is from Zaman Park, Lahore, where supporters of Imran Khan have gathered to prevent authorities from arresting him.
Fact: The picture is, in fact, from February 2023 and shows people gathered outside the Lahore High Court. It does not show Zaman Park.
On 14 March 2023, Fawad Chaudhry — a leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and former federal information and broadcasting minister — posted a picture (archive) showing a large number of people, including law enforcement officers, and multiple barricades. He captioned the image as “Zaman Park…”.
Chaudhry is referring to a violent encounter between PTI workers and law enforcement after police attempted to arrest PTI chief and former prime minister Imran Khan at his Zaman Park residence.
Fact or Fiction?
Using reverse image search tools, Soch Fact Check found that the image is, in fact, not from Zaman Park.
We found a tweet from 20 February 2023 (archive) by @RathoreZartaj, who wrote, “Thousands of supporter’s gather outside Lahore High Court without party call to express solidarity with their leader Imran Khan.”
Zartaj Rathore describes themselves in their Twitter bio as “a 23 Years Left Handed Psychologist” who is “supporting Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf”.
This is also verified by other posts on Twitter and Facebook from the same day, such as here, here, here, here, here, and here.

Soch Fact Check observed that the tweet by Fawad Chaudhry received more than 600 comments, 6,600 retweets, 25,600 likes, and 482,800 views.
We also found that former human rights minister Shireen Mazari, who, too, is a leader of the PTI, shared the image on Twitter here (archive). User @ZartashChaudhry, who has over 72,000 followers, uploaded the image here (archive).
Conclusion: The picture is, in fact, from February 2023 and shows people gathered outside the Lahore High Court. It does not show Zaman Park.
